I have just finished the book Ruby Holler and started a new one, but I’m going to talk about Ruby Holler.
In Ruby Holler what makes me keep reading is that right when you think “Man this is a great book but I want excitement”, BAM! You can’t put it down! It does this throughout the book.
Another reason why I can’t put it down is, theres always new people and they are very unique in there own ways. Like Z, he’s a VERY unique person! One minute I hate him then the next I really like him. Theres a very big surprise in the end about him that will blow you away!
But you will have to read this great book to find out! Ruby Holler is an awesome book and I love it a lot. So I would recomend it to anyone!

There are many people in our school that should be included in this video. Sadly some of those gestures aren’t seen.
One person that I have seen that showed a random act of kindness is Heather R. Today while I was still writing down my assignment in science, she went and got her binder and mine. This is a regular thing to. She does it a lot of times in Science. Heather has done many other things too.
This is just one person in our class that as helped out other people just out of the blue. Another is, Katie H.
She is one of the nicest most helpful person that I know! She is just a great person all together that I think should be recognised .
So thank you so much Heather and Katie and many other people out there that are so nice and caring!! You make this school a better place!

Do you ever not know what to write? Well I sure know what it feels like! It happens to me all the time!! Like just a few seconds ago when I didn’t know what to write =)
So, alright I don’t always not know what to write, but it is a common thing in my life. On anything! Math-Science-Social Studies and Language Arts. I know that you can’t say that it’s never happened to you before, because that would be impossible! (Or would it?)
So people of the world, let me know, do you ever not know what to write? Or do always, all the time, know matter what, know what your going to write, when your going to write it, and how your going to write it?
(Like a super genus!)

I always thought that Saturday school was boring and when we were going to have it I really didn’t want to go, but now I heard that there’s going to be themes to the Saturdays schools. This coming Saturday ( March 20th) when we have school we are allowed to wear a hat and stuff of our favorite sports team! I think that now, Saturday schools are going to be a little more fun!

Khufu
I am doing a project for social studies and language arts. I chose Pharaoh Khufu to do this project on. Through out this project I will have to answer different questions, like what civilization Khufu is from and how he effected that civilization.
Pharaoh Khufu was the second pharaoh in the fourth dynasty. He ruled over 4,500 years ago and ruled for 23 years. Khufu to us, is known for his great pyramid, which is the biggest pyramid in Egypt’s history and took 20 years to build. But to those who knew him, he was known to be very cruel and brought all sorts of misery to the people in the Old Kingdom.
Khufu impacted on his Nile River civilization in Ancient Egypt in many ways. One way is that he took entire cliffs of stone off of the Nile River causing the river to change.
Another way Khufu impacted on the Nile River civilization is that there was about 100,000 people involved in the building of the pyramid. There were few families that had escaped the call of work.
A final way that he had affected the Nile River civilization is that he had a huge
amount of Egypt’s resources go toward ” The Great Pyramid.”
To sum it up, Pharaoh Khufu may have been a cruel Pharaoh but he changed the way of how we see Egypt today.
I got the picture of the Khufu statue from: http://www.encyclopedia.com/topic/Khufu.aspx
This is where I got the picture of his pyramid from: http://www.guardians.net/egypt/khufu.htm
I got information from my social studies text-book, and information from other sites such as:

I am reading Double Identity by Margaret Peterson Haddix. Double Identity is a very interesting and exciting book.
The plot or main idea of this book is about a girl named Bethany. Bethany is approaching her thirteenth birthday and her parents keep acting stranger and stranger. Her mother keeps crying and her father is acting very strange.
Bethany is staying at her aunt Myrlie’s house which she knows nothing about. She doesn’t know why her parents just dropped her off there. Her only clue is what she over-heard her father saying to Myrlie which is, “She doesn’t know anything about Elizabeth”.
This is an awesome book with differant twists and an ending that will blow your socks off!

-She’s not a pure bred
but
Don’t call her a mutt
-She doesn’t look like a certain dog
but
Don’t call her a mutt
-She looks like two dogs in one
but
Don’t call her a mutt
-She’s my dog
so
Don’t call her a mutt
